The pendant has an open bezel. You can feel and see the stone on the front and back.
It is on a brass and stainless steel chain. The necklace measures 21".
I use the same technique that is used in doing stained glass. The jewelry is made from silver solder (which is composed of tin and copper). The soldering is done directly onto the stone by hand.
I put a lot of texture into the metalwork. I have darkened it with patina and polished the finished pendant.
