Aurora - Crystal Wand Necklace. This wand is made with a beautiful natural Quartz crystal. I have paired it with mixed gemstones and a few glass beads. Some of them are Pearl, Garnet, Lepidolite, and Blue Lace Agate. I just instinctively place what I feel goes with the crystal.
The metals are a mix of copper and silver. Mostly the look of silver overall but a small smattering of copper. I like the rustic feel that it gives to the wands.
It is on a stainless steel chain that measures 30" in length. If you would prefer a shorter length, please message me.
I use the same technique that is used in doing stained glass. The jewelry is made from a copper base with jewelry grade, silver solder layered over it. The soldering is done directly onto the stone by hand.
I like to put a lot of texture into the metalwork. I have darkened it with patina and polished the finished pendant.
